There are 5 shut off valves for the irrigation system on Plum Island. They are indicated by the black dots on the map. Anytime a shut off valve is turned off, it will shut off any watering within the corresponding color zone that it lies in. For example, if shut off valve #1 is turned off, it will shut down all watering in the green shaded zone. If shut off valve #3 is turned off, it will shut down all watering in the blue shaded zone.
To turn the water off at the shut off valve, you remove the protective cover, and simply turn one of the arms a ¼ turn so the arm is perpendicular to the pipe. To turn the water back on, simply turn the arm back ¼ turn so the arm is parallel with the pipe.

If you shut the irrigation system off for any reason, please make sure to report the situation to Manor at 650-637-1616 so that a work order can be issued to the association's landscaping maintenance company to investigate and repair whatever the problem may be. If it is after hours, leave a voice message.
